Acefer F Tab
Iron and folic acid tablets for anaemia and pregnancy.
Acefer F Tab is an iron and folic acid supplement for the treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anaemia, including in pregnancy. Used when dietary intake is insufficient. Take as directed; may cause gastric upset.
Purpose
Treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anaemia; folate supplementation in pregnancy when prescribed.
Ingredients
Ferrous salt and folic acid; strengths as per pack.
Warnings
Overdose can be fatal; keep out of reach of children. Do not take with antacids or tea within 2 hours. Consult a doctor if pregnant or if overdose is suspected.
Side Effects
Constipation, nausea, dark stools, gastric upset. Stools may turn dark; this is harmless.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
