Omeprazole 20mg gastro-resistant capsules for acid reflux, heartburn, and peptic ulcer disease.
Acipraz 20mg contains omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid production. It is used for acid reflux (GERD), heartburn, peptic ulcers, and conditions where reduced acid is beneficial. Take before a meal for best effect.
Purpose
Treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome; and as part of Helicobacter pylori eradication.
Ingredients
Omeprazole 20mg (as omeprazole) per gastro-resistant capsule.
Warnings
Not for immediate relief of heartburn. Long-term use at high dose may increase fracture risk. Report persistent diarrhoea, signs of lupus, or kidney problems. Hypomagnesaemia reported with prolonged use.
Side Effects
Headache, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea, flatulence, dry mouth. Long-term use may be associated with increased risk of fractures and hypomagnesaemia; report muscle cramps or irregular heartbeat.
