Atorvastatin 20mg soft gel capsules 30s for cholesterol.
Actrac Soft Gel Cap 20mg 30s contains atorvastatin 20mg, an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) for lowering cholesterol and cardiovascular risk. Take as directed; may be taken with or without food.
Purpose
Treatment of hypercholesterolaemia and mixed dyslipidaemia; reduction of cardiovascular risk in indicated patients.
Ingredients
Atorvastatin calcium equivalent to 20mg atorvastatin per soft gel cap; 30 capsules.
Warnings
Contraindicated in active liver disease and pregnancy. Caution with fibrates. Report muscle symptoms or signs of liver dysfunction.
Side Effects
Headache, myalgia, arthralgia, diarrhoea, nausea. Rare: myopathy, rhabdomyolysis. Report unexplained muscle pain or weakness.
