Febuxostat 80mg tablets for chronic gout and hyperuricaemia.
Adenuric (80mg) 20 Tablets contain febuxostat 80mg, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor for chronic gout and hyperuricaemia. Use as directed; do not use for acute gout attack alone. May increase gout flares initially.
Purpose
Chronic management of hyperuricaemia in patients with gout when prescribed.

Warnings
Prescription only. Not for acute gout attack alone. May increase gout flares initially; prophylaxis may be needed. Report chest pain, rash, or liver symptoms.
Side Effects
Gout flares (especially initially), nausea, liver effects, cardiovascular events (monitor). Report chest pain, rash, or jaundice.
