Admit 50/500mg Tab
Sitagliptin and metformin 50/500mg for type 2 diabetes.
Admit 50/500mg Tab combines sitagliptin (DPP-4 inhibitor) 50mg and metformin 500mg for type 2 diabetes when dual therapy is needed. Take with meals; do not crush or chew. Assess renal function periodically.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults when diet and exercise plus single therapy do not achieve adequate glycaemic control.
Ingredients
Sitagliptin 50mg and metformin hydrochloride 500mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in severe renal impairment and diabetic ketoacidosis. Not for type 1 diabetes. Assess renal function before and during treatment. Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding without advice.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, headache. Lactic acidosis (rare) with metformin. Report unusual muscle pain, breathlessness, or severe stomach upset.

Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
