Escitalopram 20mg tablets for depression and anxiety disorders. Prescription only.
Adora 20 tablets contain escitalopram, an SSRI antidepressant used to treat depression and anxiety disorders. It works by increasing serotonin in the brain. Treatment should be under medical supervision; improvement may take several weeks.
Purpose
Treatment of major depressive disorder and generalised anxiety disorder in adults.
Ingredients
Escitalopram (as oxalate) 20mg per tablet.
Warnings
Increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviour in children and young adults; monitor for worsening or agitation. Do not use with MAOIs or pimozide. Caution in bleeding disorders, epilepsy, mania. Avoid abrupt discontinuation.
Side Effects
Nausea, dry mouth, drowsiness, insomnia, sweating, fatigue, decreased libido, ejaculation disorder. Increased risk of suicidal thoughts in young adults; monitor closely. Serotonin syndrome and hyponatraemia possible.

Store below 25°C. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
