Advantan (0.1%) 10 Ointment contains methylprednisolone aceponate, a topical corticosteroid for inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Apply thinly; do not use long-term on face without advice.
Purpose
Treatment of inflammatory skin conditions such as atopic eczema, contact dermatitis, and psoriasis when prescribed.
Ingredients
Methylprednisolone aceponate 0.1% w/w; 10g ointment.
Warnings
For external use only. Do not use on face long-term. Do not use in rosacea or perioral dermatitis. Discontinue if infection develops. Not for use in untreated bacterial or fungal infection.
Side Effects
Local thinning of skin, striae, acne with prolonged use. Report worsening, infection, or systemic effects.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Keep tube tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
