Agusta is a combination antidiabetic medication containing Metformin and a DPP-4 inhibitor or sulfonylurea, formulated to provide comprehensive blood glucose control in type 2 diabetes. Metformin improves insulin sensitivity and reduces hepatic glucose production, while the second component increases insulin secretion. Together, they work synergistically to lower blood sugar levels and help prevent serious diabetes complications.
Purpose
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control, reduce blood glucose levels, prevent diabetes complications including kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, heart attack, and stroke.

Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg, Second active ingredient 20mg (DPP-4 inhibitor or Sulfonylurea)
Warnings
Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Contraindicated in severe kidney or liver disease. Risk of lactic acidosis with metformin. Monitor kidney function regularly. Must be combined with healthy diet and exercise. Avoid alcohol. Regular blood glucose and HbA1c monitoring required.
Side Effects
Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, headache, weight gain, metallic taste, vitamin B12 deficiency with long-term use.

Store at room temperature below 25°C. Protect from moisture and light. Keep in original blister pack. Store out of reach of children.
