ALVOSTAN 5/160 TAB 14S
ALVOSTAN 5/160 contains olmesartan medoxomil (an angiotensin II receptor blocker) and amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker). This combination is used to treat high blood pressure when one medicine alone is not sufficient. It relaxes blood vessels and lowers blood pressure.
Purpose
Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults. Reduces risk of stroke and heart attack when blood pressure is controlled.
Ingredients
Olmesartan medoxomil 160mg, Amlodipine (as besylate) 5mg.
Warnings
Do not use if pregnant or planning pregnancy—can harm the unborn baby. Do not use with aliskiren in diabetic patients. Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease. Do not stop without medical advice.
Side Effects
Dizziness, swelling of ankles/feet, headache, flushing, tiredness. Rare: low blood pressure, kidney problems. Report persistent cough or swelling.

Store below 30°C. Keep in original pack. Protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
