Rivastigmine 0.5mg tablets for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease dementia.
Alzilo (0.5mg) contains rivastigmine, a cholinesterase inhibitor for mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease dementia. It may improve cognition and function. Use as directed; dose is titrated gradually.
Purpose
Treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease and mild to moderate dementia associated with Parkinson's disease.
Ingredients
Rivastigmine (as tartrate or hydrogen tartrate) 0.5mg per tablet.
Warnings
Prescription only. Not a cure; may slow progression. Risk of bradycardia; caution in heart disease. Do not stop suddenly. Report fainting or stomach ulcers.
Side Effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, anorexia, dizziness, headache. Bradycardia and syncope possible. Report fainting, slow pulse, or severe stomach upset.

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
