Amlodipine, valsartan, and HCTZ 10/160/12.5mg for hypertension.
Amodip V Plus (10/160/12.5mg) combines amlodipine (calcium channel blocker) 10mg, valsartan (ARB) 160mg, and hydrochlorothiazide (diuretic) 12.5mg for hypertension when triple therapy is needed. Take as directed.
Purpose
Treatment of essential hypertension when combination therapy with these three agents is appropriate.
Ingredients
Amlodipine 10mg, valsartan 160mg, hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in pregnancy (ARB). Do not use in severe renal impairment or bilateral renal artery stenosis without advice. Monitor potassium. Do not stop suddenly.
Side Effects
Dizziness, oedema, hypokalaemia, hyperuricaemia, cough. Report fainting, swelling, muscle weakness, or persistent dry cough.
