Amyline contains Amitriptyline, a tricyclic antidepressant that increases levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the brain. While originally developed for depression, it is widely used for neuropathic pain, chronic headache prevention, and migraine prophylaxis. Amitriptyline modulates pain signals in the central nervous system and helps restore chemical balance that affects mood and pain perception.
Purpose
Treatment of major depressive disorder, neuropathic pain in adults, prophylactic treatment of chronic tension-type headache, prophylactic treatment of migraine, nocturnal enuresis in children 6+ years when other treatments fail.

Warnings
Prescription-only medicine. Not for use with MAO inhibitors or within 14 days of stopping them. Increased suicide risk in young adults - monitor closely. Not established for children under 12 for depression. Use caution with heart conditions, glaucoma, urinary retention, seizure disorders. Avoid alcohol. May cause drowsiness - avoid driving. Gradual discontinuation required.

Drowsiness, dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, dizziness, weight gain, difficulty urinating, increased heart rate, confusion, sweating.
Storage Instructions
Store at room temperature between 15-25°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep in original container tightly closed. Store out of reach of children.
