Apidra Solostar (100Iu/Ml) 3Ml, 5 Insulin Injection Pens contains insulin glulisine (rapid-acting insulin) for diabetes. The 100 IU/ml strength is for subcutaneous injection with meals. Use only as directed; do not share pens.

Purpose

Treatment of diabetes mellitus (type 1 and type 2) when rapid-acting insulin is indicated.

Ingredients

Insulin glulisine 100 IU per ml; 3ml per prefilled pen.

Warnings

Risk of hypoglycaemia; carry fast-acting sugar. Do not share pen. Not for intravenous use. Rotate injection sites. Report signs of low blood sugar.

Side Effects

Hypoglycaemia, injection-site reactions, weight gain. Rare: allergic reactions. Report signs of low blood sugar or severe allergic reaction.

Storage Instructions

Store unopened in refrigerator; may be kept at room temperature for period stated. Protect from light. Do not freeze. Use opened pen within period stated.
