Artem Plus (30/180mg) 30Ml Suspension is an artemisinin-based combination therapy (ACT) for uncomplicated malaria, typically artemether with lumefantrine. Used in children and adults. Complete the full 3-day course as directed.
Purpose
Treatment of uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria when caused by susceptible organisms.
Ingredients
Artemether 30mg and lumefantrine 180mg per 5ml (or per dose); 30ml.
Warnings
Prescription only. Complete full 3-day course. Take with food. Report palpitations or fainting. Not for severe malaria; seek hospital care for severe symptoms.
Side Effects
Headache, dizziness, anorexia, nausea, abdominal pain, cough. QT prolongation possible. Report palpitations, fainting, or severe stomach upset.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Shake well before use. Use within period stated after opening. Keep out of reach of children.
