Atorvastatin statin capsules for lowering cholesterol and preventing cardiovascular disease.
Arynoin contains Atorvastatin, a highly effective HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) that reduces cholesterol synthesis in the liver. It lowers LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and apolipoprotein B while increasing HDL cholesterol. Atorvastatin also has pleiotropic effects including improved endothelial function, reduced inflammation, and plaque stabilization, contributing to cardiovascular risk reduction beyond cholesterol lowering.
Purpose
Treatment of hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia, reduction of cardiovascular event risk (heart attack, stroke, angina), treatment of familial hypercholesterolemia, prevention in high-risk patients with multiple risk factors.

Atorvastatin Calcium equivalent to Atorvastatin 20mg
Warnings
Contraindicated in active liver disease, pregnancy, and breastfeeding. Monitor liver function at baseline and as needed. Report unexplained muscle pain, weakness, or dark urine immediately. Drug interactions with fusidic acid, certain antivirals, cyclosporine. Avoid excessive grapefruit juice. Risk factors for myopathy: age >65, hypothyroidism, renal impairment. Prescription medicine. Cholesterol typically improves within 4 weeks.
Side Effects
Headaches, nausea, diarrhea, cold-like symptoms, muscle pain or weakness, elevated liver enzymes. Rare but serious: rhabdomyolysis (severe muscle breakdown), liver dysfunction.

Store at room temperature between 15-30°C. Protect from moisture and light. Keep in original container. Store out of reach of children.
