Atem 2Ml Ampule (10S)
Ipratropium Bromide nebulizer solution for bronchodilation in asthma and COPD treatment.
Atem contains Ipratropium Bromide, a quaternary ammonium anticholinergic bronchodilator that blocks muscarinic receptors in bronchial smooth muscle. By inhibiting acetylcholine-mediated bronchoconstriction, it produces bronchodilation and reduces mucus secretion. Unlike beta-agonists, ipratropium's onset is slower but provides sustained bronchodilation. It is particularly effective in COPD and as combination therapy in asthma exacerbations when administered via nebulizer.
Purpose
Treatment and prevention of bronchospasm in bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, emphysema. Relief of shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, chest tightness.
