Augmentin 625Mg Tab (6S)
Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid combination antibiotic for treating resistant bacterial infections.
Augmentin 625mg is a combination antibiotic containing Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid (potassium clavulanate). Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects amoxicillin from bacterial resistance enzymes, significantly extending its effectiveness against beta-lactamase-producing resistant bacteria. This synergistic combination provides enhanced antibacterial coverage for various infections.

Treatment of bacterial infections including acute bacterial sinusitis, acute otitis media, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental abscesses, bone and joint infections.
