Augmentin Bd (457mg) 70M Syp is amoxicillin/clavulanate oral suspension for bacterial infections. The 457mg strength is for twice-daily (BD) dosing. Shake well before use; complete the full course.

Purpose

Treatment of bacterial infections (e.g. respiratory, ear, urinary tract, skin) when susceptible to amoxicillin/clavulanate.

Ingredients

Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid (as potassium salt); 457mg per 5ml or as stated; 70ml suspension.

Warnings

Prescription only. Do not use if allergic to penicillins. Complete full course. Report severe diarrhoea or rash. Take with food if stomach upset.

Side Effects

Diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, rash. Rare: hepatitis, allergic reactions. Report severe diarrhoea, rash, or jaundice.

Storage Instructions

Store as directed (refrigerate after reconstitution if stated). Shake well before use. Use within period after reconstitution. Keep out of reach of children.
