Avega Sr (6mg) 10 Tablets contains galantamine 6mg sustained-release, an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor for mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. Improves cognition and daily function. Take once daily as directed.
Purpose
Symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease.
Ingredients
Galantamine (as hydrobromide) 6mg per sustained-release tablet; 10 tablets.
Warnings
Contraindicated in severe hepatic or renal impairment. Caution in cardiac conduction disorders, asthma, COPD. Report slow heartbeat or fainting.
Side Effects
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness, headache, weight loss. Report bradycardia, syncope, or severe GI symptoms.
