Moxifloxacin 400mg tablets for respiratory and skin infections.
Avelox (400mg) contains moxifloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic for bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, sinusitis, and skin infections. Take once daily as directed; complete the full course. Avoid prolonged sun exposure.
Purpose
Treatment of bacterial infections including acute bacterial sinusitis, community-acquired pneumonia, and skin/soft tissue infections when caused by susceptible organisms.
Ingredients
Moxifloxacin (as hydrochloride) 400mg per tablet.
Warnings
Prescription only. Fluoroquinolones may cause tendonitis and tendon rupture; discontinue if tendon pain or swelling. Avoid in known QT prolongation. Complete full course. Report severe diarrhoea.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, headache. Tendon damage, QT prolongation, and CNS effects possible. Report tendon pain, palpitations, or mood changes.

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture and light.
