Axicon 150mg Cap
Fluconazole 150mg capsules for fungal and yeast infections.
Axicon 150mg contains fluconazole, a triazole antifungal. It is used for vaginal candidiasis (often as a single 150mg dose), oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis, systemic fungal infections, dermatophyte infections (e.g. tinea), and cryptococcal meningitis. Manufactured by Axis Pharma; supplied as capsules.
Purpose
Treatment of vaginal candidiasis, oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis, dermatophyte infections, and systemic fungal infections.
Ingredients
Fluconazole 150mg per capsule.
Warnings
May cause liver damage; avoid in significant liver disease. Report rash or jaundice. Avoid in pregnancy (first trimester) unless essential.
Side Effects
Nausea, headache, abdominal pain, rash. Rare: hepatotoxicity, serious skin reactions.
