Rifaximin 120mg tablets for traveller's diarrhoea or hepatic encephalopathy.
Axifax 120mg Tab contain rifaximin 120mg (antibiotic) for traveller's diarrhoea or hepatic encephalopathy. Take as directed; usually one or two tablets two to three times daily. Complete the full course. Prescription only.
Purpose
Treatment of traveller's diarrhoea or hepatic encephalopathy when prescribed.
Ingredients
Rifaximin 120mg per tablet.
Warnings
Prescription only. Complete the full course. Report severe diarrhoea (possible C. difficile). Not for use in severe liver impairment without advice.
Side Effects
Nausea, flatulence, headache. Report severe diarrhoea or allergic reaction.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack. Keep out of reach of children.
