Azotek (500mg) contains azithromycin, a macrolide antibiotic used for bacterial infections including respiratory, skin, and sexually transmitted infections. The 500mg strength is for once-daily dosing. Take as directed; complete the full course.
Purpose
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections including respiratory, skin, and STIs when prescribed.
Ingredients
Azithromycin 500mg (as dihydrate or equivalent) per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in macrolide hypersensitivity. Caution in hepatic impairment and QT prolongation. Complete full course.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, headache. Rare: hepatotoxicity, QT prolongation. Report severe diarrhoea or jaundice.
