Baritec A (40/10Mg) 20 Tablets
ARB and amlodipine combination for dual-mechanism blood pressure control and cardiovascular protection.
Baritec A is a fixed-dose combination of an Angiotensin Receptor Blocker (ARB) and Amlodipine calcium channel blocker designed for complementary blood pressure control. The ARB component blocks angiotensin II receptors preventing vasoconstriction and aldosterone release, while amlodipine produces vasodilation through calcium channel blockade. This dual mechanism provides additive blood pressure reduction with potentially lower side effect profile than either drug at higher doses. The combination is particularly effective for patients not achieving target BP on monotherapy.
Purpose
Treatment of essential hypertension not adequately controlled on monotherapy, reduction of cardiovascular event risk (stroke, MI), prevention of target organ damage, add-on therapy when ARB or CCB alone insufficient.
Ingredients
ARB component 40mg (Telmisartan or Olmesartan), Amlodipine Besylate equivalent to Amlodipine 10mg
