Basagine Pen (100Iu/Ml) 1s is insulin glargine 100 units/ml in a prefilled pen for diabetes. Long-acting basal insulin; inject once daily as directed. Store refrigerated until first use.
Purpose
Treatment of diabetes mellitus (type 1 and type 2) as basal insulin therapy.
Ingredients
Insulin glargine 100 IU per ml; prefilled pen 1s.
Warnings
Prescription only. Risk of hypoglycaemia. Rotate injection sites. Do not use if cloudy or discoloured. Not for IV use.
Side Effects
Hypoglycaemia, injection site reactions, weight gain. Report severe hypoglycaemia or allergic reactions.
Storage Instructions
Store unopened in refrigerator (2–8°C). Do not freeze. After first use, may be kept at room temperature for up to 28 days. Protect from direct heat and light.
