Diclofenac Potassium fast-acting NSAID for rapid pain and inflammation relief.
Beflam contains Diclofenac Potassium, the potassium salt of diclofenac with faster dissolution and more rapid onset of action compared to diclofenac sodium formulations. This makes it particularly suitable for acute pain management where quick relief is desired. As a potent NSAID, it inhibits both COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis and providing anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effects. The 75mg strength offers effective pain control for moderate to severe pain conditions.
Purpose
Treatment of acute pain and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, acute gout, dental pain, muscle aches, backaches, sports injuries, menstrual cramps, post-operative pain, migraine attacks, headaches.

Warnings
NSAID RISKS - cardiovascular thrombotic events (MI, stroke) and serious GI adverse events (bleeding, ulceration, perforation) can occur. Risk increases with duration and cardiovascular risk factors. Contraindicated in active GI bleeding, recent MI, severe heart failure, perioperative CABG surgery, late pregnancy. Use caution with CV disease, hypertension, heart failure, renal/hepatic impairment. Monitor BP, renal function, liver enzymes. Avoid alcohol. Short-term use recommended. Prescription medicine.
Side Effects
Nausea, upset stomach, heartburn, constipation, diarrhea, drowsiness, dizziness, abdominal pain, dyspepsia. Serious: GI bleeding/ulceration, cardiovascular events, renal dysfunction, hepatotoxicity, hypersensitivity reactions.
