Bempedoic acid 180mg tablets for cholesterol.
Bempics 180mg Tablets 10s contains bempedoic acid, an ATP-citrate lyase inhibitor for lowering LDL cholesterol when statins are insufficient or not tolerated. Take once daily as directed; may be taken with or without food.
Purpose
Adjunct to diet and statin therapy for lowering LDL cholesterol in hypercholesterolaemia when prescribed.
Ingredients
Bempedoic acid 180mg per tablet.
Warnings
Risk of tendon rupture; report tendon pain. May increase uric acid; caution in gout. Not a substitute for statin when statin tolerated. Report muscle or tendon symptoms.
Side Effects
Upper respiratory infection, myalgia, elevated uric acid, tendon rupture. Report unexplained muscle pain, tendon pain, or gout symptoms.
