Blokium 25mg contains atenolol, a selective beta-1 blocker used for hypertension and angina. It slows heart rate and reduces cardiac workload. Manufactured by Highnoon Laboratories. Usually 1–2 tablets daily; may be increased to 100mg (4 tablets) per day as prescribed. Pack of 30 tablets.

Treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris.

Ingredients

Atenolol 25mg per tablet.

Warnings

Do not stop abruptly. Contraindicated in sinus bradycardia, heart block, Raynaud's. Caution in asthma.

Side Effects

Tiredness, dizziness, slow heart rate, cold hands and feet. May mask hypoglycemia in diabetics.
