Atenolol 50mg tablets for hypertension and angina.
Blokium 50mg contains atenolol, a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor blocker. It reduces heart rate and cardiac output and lowers blood pressure. Used for hypertension, angina pectoris, and sometimes after heart attack. Take once daily; may be taken with or without food. Pack of 30 tablets.
Purpose
Treatment of hypertension and angina pectoris.
Ingredients
Atenolol 50mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in severe bradycardia, heart block, cardiogenic shock, uncontrolled heart failure. Caution in asthma/COPD. Do not stop suddenly; taper to avoid rebound.
Side Effects
Fatigue, cold extremities, bradycardia, dizziness, bronchospasm in susceptible patients. May mask hypoglycemia in diabetics.

Store below 25C in a dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
