Bisoprolol and hydrochlorothiazide 100/25mg for hypertension.
Blokium Diu (100/25mg) combines bisoprolol (beta-blocker) and hydrochlorothiazide (diuretic) for hypertension. Used when combination therapy is needed. Take once daily as directed; do not stop abruptly.
Purpose
Treatment of essential hypertension when combination therapy is appropriate.
Ingredients
Bisoprolol 10mg and hydrochlorothiazide 25mg per tablet (100/25 may be brand designation).
Warnings
Contraindicated in severe bradycardia and heart block. Do not stop abruptly. Monitor potassium. Caution in asthma.
Side Effects
Dizziness, fatigue, bradycardia, hypokalaemia. Report fainting, muscle weakness, or very slow pulse.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
