Blokium Diu 50 (50/12.5mg) combines bisoprolol and hydrochlorothiazide in lower strength for hypertension. Used when combination therapy with lower dose is needed. Take once daily as directed.

Purpose

Treatment of essential hypertension when combination therapy is appropriate.

Ingredients

Bisoprolol 5mg and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg per tablet (or equivalent as per pack).

Warnings

Contraindicated in severe bradycardia and heart block. Do not stop abruptly. Monitor potassium.

Side Effects

Dizziness, fatigue, bradycardia, hypokalaemia. Report fainting or muscle weakness.

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
