Cephalosporin antibiotic suspension 500mg/5ml 120ml for bacterial infections.
Bludol (500mg/5Ml) 120Ml Suspension contains cefuroxime axetil or similar cephalosporin antibiotic as an oral suspension. Used to treat bacterial infections such as respiratory tract, ear, and urinary tract infections. Complete the full course as prescribed.
Purpose
Treatment of bacterial infections (e.g. respiratory, ear, urinary tract) when susceptible organisms are identified or presumed.
Ingredients
Cefuroxime (as axetil) 500mg per 5ml; 120ml suspension.
Warnings
Prescription only. Complete full course. Do not use if allergic to cephalosporins or penicillins. Report severe diarrhoea or signs of allergy.
Side Effects
Diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, rash. Rare: allergic reactions, pseudomembranous colitis. Report severe diarrhoea or rash.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Shake well before use. Use within period stated after reconstitution. Keep out of reach of children.
