Vortioxetine 10mg tablets for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder in adults.
Brintellix 10mg contains vortioxetine, an antidepressant with a unique multimodal mechanism of action. It works by inhibiting the serotonin transporter and acting directly on several serotonin receptors. It is used to treat major depressive disorder, helping to improve mood and cognitive symptoms associated with depression.
Purpose
Treatment of major depressive episodes in adults.
Ingredients
Vortioxetine (as hydrobromide) 10mg per tablet.
Warnings
Monitor for suicidal thoughts, especially in the first few weeks of treatment. Do not use with MAOIs.
Side Effects
Nausea is common, especially at the start. Other effects include constipation and vomiting.
Storage Instructions
Store at room temperature (15-30°C). Keep out of reach of children.
