Montelukast 10mg tablets for asthma and allergic rhinitis.
Caramont 10mg Tab contains montelukast, a leukotriene receptor antagonist for asthma and allergic rhinitis. The 10mg strength is for adults and adolescents. Take once daily in the evening as directed. Do not use for relief of acute asthma attacks.
Purpose
Prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma; relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis when prescribed.
Ingredients
Montelukast 10mg (as sodium salt) per tablet.
Warnings
Not for relief of acute asthma attacks. Report agitation, aggression, or suicidal thoughts. Caution in phenylketonuria if tablet contains aspartame.
Side Effects
Headache, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness. Rare: behavioural and mood changes. Report mood or behaviour changes.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture and light.
