Carbamazepine 400mg tablets 10s for epilepsy and bipolar.
Carlep 400mg Tab 10s contains carbamazepine 400mg, an anticonvulsant and mood stabiliser for epilepsy and bipolar disorder. Take as directed; do not stop suddenly. May cause drowsiness initially.
Purpose
Treatment of epilepsy; acute manic episodes in bipolar disorder; trigeminal neuralgia when prescribed.
Ingredients
Carbamazepine 400mg per tablet; 10 tablets.
Warnings
Prescription only. Do not stop abruptly. Avoid grapefruit. Monitor blood counts and sodium. Report rash (risk of SJS). Contraindicated in AV block, porphyria.
Side Effects
Dizziness, drowsiness, ataxia, nausea, rash. Rare: hyponatraemia, blood dyscrasias, hepatotoxicity. Report rash, fever, or unusual bruising.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
