Carsel 25 (25Mg) 30 Tablets
Carvedilol non-selective beta-blocker with vasodilating properties for heart failure and hypertension.
Carsel contains Carvedilol, a unique non-selective beta-blocker with additional alpha-1 blocking properties, providing both beta-blockade and vasodilation. This dual mechanism offers advantages in heart failure and hypertension treatment by reducing heart rate, contractility, and peripheral vascular resistance simultaneously. The 25mg strength represents a common maintenance dose after titration. Carvedilol has been shown to reduce mortality and morbidity in chronic heart failure and improve outcomes after myocardial infarction, making it a cornerstone therapy in cardiovascular disease management.
Purpose
Treatment of chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF), essential hypertension, left ventricular dysfunction following myocardial infarction in clinically stable patients. Off-label: stable angina, atrial fibrillation rate control, portal hypertension.
Ingredients
Carvedilol 25mg
