Purpose

Treatment of bacterial infections (e.g. respiratory, skin, urinary tract) when susceptible organisms are identified or presumed.

Ingredients

Cefalexin (as monohydrate) 250mg per 5ml; 90ml suspension.

Warnings

Prescription only. Do not use if allergic to cephalosporins or penicillins. Complete full course. Report severe diarrhoea or rash.

Side Effects

Diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, rash. Rare: allergic reactions, pseudomembranous colitis. Report severe diarrhoea or rash.

Storage Instructions
