Chloramphenicol and prednisolone eye ointment 3.5g.
Cetapred Eye Oint 3.5g contains chloramphenicol and prednisolone or similar (antibiotic and corticosteroid) for bacterial eye infections with inflammation. For ophthalmic use only. Apply a small amount to inside of lower lid as directed. Do not touch tube to eye.
Purpose
Treatment of bacterial eye infections with inflammation when prescribed.
Ingredients
Chloramphenicol and prednisolone or equivalent; 3.5g.
Warnings
For ophthalmic use only. Do not use in viral or fungal eye infection. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment. Report pain or worsening. Prescription only.
Side Effects
Mild stinging, temporary blurred vision. Report pain or worsening vision. Rare: blood disorders with chloramphenicol.
Storage Instructions
Store as directed. Keep tube tightly closed. Discard after opening as stated. Keep out of reach of children.
