Cetralex (100mg) 20 Tablets
Citalopram 100mg tablets for depression and anxiety.
Cetralex (100mg) contains citalopram, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) for depression and anxiety disorders. It is used for major depressive disorder and generalised anxiety disorder. The 100mg strength is for maintenance in some patients; dose must be individualised. Do not exceed 40mg daily in most adults (lower in elderly).
Purpose
Treatment of major depressive disorder and generalised anxiety disorder when prescribed.
Ingredients
Citalopram 100mg (as hydrobromide) per tablet.
Warnings
Do not use with MAO inhibitors. May increase risk of bleeding and hyponatraemia. Report suicidal thoughts. Caution in cardiac disease; maximum 40mg daily in most adults.
Side Effects
Nausea, dry mouth, fatigue, insomnia, sexual dysfunction. May cause QT prolongation at high doses. Report mood worsening or suicidal thoughts.

Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
