Ciloxan Eye Drop
Ciprofloxacin eye drops for bacterial eye infections.
Ciloxan Eye Drop contains ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic for bacterial eye infections (conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers). Use as directed; do not touch dropper to eye or surfaces. Not for injection or oral use.
Purpose
Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers caused by susceptible organisms.
Ingredients
Ciprofloxacin (as hydrochloride) 0.3% w/v.
Warnings
For ophthalmic use only. Remove contact lenses before use if directed. Do not share. Report eye pain or vision changes. Not for injection.
Side Effects
Local burning, stinging, itching, redness. Corneal precipitation with prolonged use. Report severe pain, vision changes, or worsening redness.
Storage Instructions
Store at room temperature or as directed. Do not use if solution is discoloured. Discard after opening within period stated on pack. Keep out of reach of children.
