Purpose

Treatment of bacterial infections including urinary tract, respiratory, and skin infections caused by susceptible organisms.

Ingredients

Ciprofloxacin (as hydrochloride) 500mg per film-coated tablet.

Warnings

Fluoroquinolones may cause tendon damage; avoid in tendon disorders. Discontinue if tendon pain, swelling, or rupture. Caution in myasthenia gravis, QT prolongation. Avoid excessive sun exposure.

Side Effects

Nausea, diarrhea, headache, dizziness. Risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture; discontinue if tendon pain or swelling. May cause CNS effects and photosensitivity.
