Ciprofloxacin 250mg tablets for bacterial infections.
Cipval 250mg contains ciprofloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic for bacterial infections including urinary tract and respiratory infections. The 250mg strength is for twice-daily dosing. Take as directed; complete the full course.
Purpose
Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections including urinary tract and respiratory infections when prescribed.
Ingredients
Ciprofloxacin 250mg (as hydrochloride or equivalent) per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in quinolone hypersensitivity. Caution in epilepsy and renal impairment. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding. May cause photosensitivity.
Side Effects
Nausea, diarrhoea, headache, dizziness. Rare: tendonitis, tendon rupture, peripheral neuropathy. Discontinue and seek help for tendon pain or numbness.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from light and moisture.
