Esomeprazole 40mg capsules for acid reflux and peptic ulcer.
Cisec 40mg contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid. Used for GERD, peptic ulcers, and H. pylori eradication. The 40mg strength is for erosive esophagitis or when higher dose is needed. Take before a meal.
Purpose
Treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, and as part of H. pylori eradication.
Ingredients
Esomeprazole 40mg (as magnesium or equivalent) per capsule.
Warnings
Not for immediate relief of heartburn. Report persistent diarrhoea or signs of hypomagnesaemia.
Side Effects
Headache, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea. Long-term use may be associated with hypomagnesaemia. Report muscle cramps or irregular heartbeat.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
