Combination of Valsartan and Hydrochlorothiazide for effective blood pressure control.
Co Diovan 160/25mg is a combination antihypertensive medication containing valsartan (an ARB) and hydrochlorothiazide (a diuretic). It is used when a single medication is not enough to control high blood pressure, combining a vessel-relaxing effect with fluid reduction.
Purpose
Treatment of hypertension not adequately controlled by monotherapy.
Ingredients
Valsartan 160mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 25mg.
Warnings
Do not use during pregnancy as it can harm the fetus. Monitor kidney function and potassium levels.
Side Effects
Dizziness, fatigue, headache, and potential electrolyte imbalances due to the diuretic.
