Coralan (5Mg) 56 Tablets
Ivabradine 5mg to lower heart rate in heart failure and angina.
Coralan contains Ivabradine 5mg, which lowers heart rate by inhibiting the sinus-node funny current. It is used in chronic heart failure and in angina when rate remains ≥70 bpm.
Purpose
Symptomatic chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (sinus rhythm, HR ≥70 bpm); symptomatic stable angina (HR ≥70 bpm).

Warnings
Avoid grapefruit juice. Contraindicated in acute heart failure, severe hypotension/bradycardia, strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, severe hepatic impairment. Prescription only.
Side Effects
Bradycardia, luminous phenomena (phosphenes), blurred vision, atrial fibrillation, hypertension.
