Carvedilol 5mg tablets for hypertension and heart failure.
Corbis 5mg contains carvedilol, a beta-blocker with alpha-1 blocking activity for hypertension and heart failure. The 5mg strength is for initiation or twice-daily dosing. Take with food as directed; do not stop abruptly.
Purpose
Treatment of essential hypertension; treatment of chronic heart failure when prescribed.
Ingredients
Carvedilol 5mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in decompensated heart failure and severe bradycardia. Do not stop abruptly. Caution in diabetes and peripheral vascular disease.
Side Effects
Dizziness, fatigue, bradycardia, hypotension. Do not stop suddenly. Report fainting or very slow pulse.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
