Amlodipine, valsartan, and HCTZ triple combination for hypertension.
Covance H 5mg/160mg/12.5mg combines amlodipine, valsartan, and hydrochlorothiazide (triple combination) for hypertension when two agents are insufficient. Take once daily as directed.
Purpose
Treatment of essential hypertension when triple therapy is appropriate.
Ingredients
Amlodipine 5mg, valsartan 160mg, and hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in pregnancy. Caution in renal impairment and with potassium-sparing diuretics. Monitor electrolytes.
Side Effects
Dizziness, oedema, hypotension, hypokalaemia, hyperkalaemia. Report fainting, muscle weakness, or swelling.
Storage Instructions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
