Clobetasol 0.05% ointment 15g for severe inflammatory skin conditions.
Covate (0.05%) 15g Skin Ointment contains clobetasol propionate, a potent topical corticosteroid for short-term treatment of severe inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Use thinly; do not use on face long-term.
Purpose
Short-term treatment of severe corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses (e.g. eczema, psoriasis) when less potent steroids are insufficient.
Ingredients
Clobetasol propionate 0.05% w/w.
Warnings
Potent steroid. For short-term use only. Do not use on face, groin, or under occlusion without medical advice. Do not use in rosacea or acne. Not for use in pregnancy or children without advice.
Side Effects
Local atrophy, striae, telangiectasia, acne, burning. Systemic absorption with prolonged or extensive use. Report skin thinning or worsening.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C. Keep tube tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
