Telmisartan 40mg tablets for hypertension.
Cresar (40mg) 10 Tablets contain telmisartan 40mg, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) for hypertension and cardiovascular protection. Take as directed; do not stop suddenly.
Purpose
Treatment of essential hypertension; reduction of cardiovascular morbidity in high-risk patients when prescribed.
Ingredients
Telmisartan 40mg per tablet.
Warnings
Contraindicated in pregnancy (ARB). Do not use in bilateral renal artery stenosis or severe hepatic impairment without advice. Monitor potassium. Do not stop suddenly.
Side Effects
Dizziness, hypotension, hyperkalaemia, cough (less than ACE inhibitors). Report fainting, swelling, or persistent dry cough.
Storage Instructions
Store below 25°C in a dry place. Keep in original pack; protect from moisture.
