Cresar Am (5/40mg) 14 Tablets combines amlodipine (CCB) 5mg and olmesartan (ARB) 40mg for hypertension when dual therapy is needed. Take once daily as directed; may be taken with or without food.

Purpose

Treatment of essential hypertension when dual therapy is appropriate.

Ingredients

Amlodipine 5mg and olmesartan 40mg (as medoxomil) per tablet.

Warnings

Contraindicated in pregnancy; can cause fetal injury. Caution in hepatic and renal impairment. Avoid potassium supplements unless advised.

Side Effects

Dizziness, oedema, flushing, hypotension. Report fainting or severe swelling.
